Welcome to Storage Bin AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Storage Bin AI mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Storage Bin AI ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Storage Bin AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Storage Bin AI is a storage organization application that allows users to:

• Create and manage digital records of physical storage bins
• Use AI-powered image recognition to identify and catalog items
• Generate QR codes for physical labeling of storage containers
• Search and locate items across all storage bins
• Sync data across multiple devices via cloud storage

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to the Service, including up to 10 storage bins and 10 photos per bin. The free tier does not include AI item detection or cloud sync features.

Premium Subscription

The Premium subscription is available at $14.99 per year and provides unlimited access to all features, including AI item detection, unlimited bins and photos, and cloud sync with backup.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, graphics, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Storage Bin AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including photos, bin names, descriptions, and tags. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. AI-Powered Features

The Service uses Google Cloud Vision API for AI item detection. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

• Photos are sent to Google's servers for processing
• AI-generated descriptions and tags are provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• You are responsible for reviewing and correcting AI-generated labels as needed

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• AI item detection will be accurate or complete
• Any defects will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORAGE BIN AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storage Bin AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination
• We may delete your data after the 30-day period
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
